The mission of Critter Concerto® is to provide a fun and unusual way to contribute money to worthwhile charities while furnishing original artworks to the contributor.
Many, many years ago, I found that I had a bit of talent in sculpture. It has been a terrific hobby. But upon retiring from the business world in 1997, I became bored. I felt that I had never found my purpose in life. And I wanted to find a way to "play" with clay and also provide the world with something of value. Thus Critter Concerto® was born. For the past ten years, I have created over 100 clay sculptures depicting animals. And since I dearly love music, I got the idea to name each of the critters about a musical icon. No, it's not an integral part of the sculpture, but it adds a bit of pizazz, personality and humor. And we all need a little more humor in our lives.
Critter Concerto® animals are meant to bring you a laugh or a smile. And they are meant to bring a few dollars into the hands of worthwhile charities.
We are not currently registered as a non-profit, or charitable company, but this may happen in time.
Hello, my name is Pamela Fleming. I go by "Pam," and I work out of my home here in Tampa, Florida.
I live here with my two dogs, Maggie, a 7-year-old English Bulldog, and Riley, a 5-year-old Basset Hound. They are my kids, and they keep me laughing most of the time.
Critter Concerto® was started as a way to help charitable organizations by providing products that are connected to the charities.
Through the joint efforts of the charity and this website, the critters are sold with at least 40% of the profits going directly to the charity.
If you have a charity, or if you know of a worthwhile charity, please contact me for information as to how you can "adopt" a critter to represent (and make money) for your organization. Just drop me a note and I will call you to discuss this.
